Caring Meadows was established in direct response to a gap in the supported living sector that its founders had observed first-hand: care providers delivering excellent clinical and personal support, but operating in properties that were poorly sourced, under-maintained, non-compliant, or simply not designed with the people living in them in mind. Housing and care were being managed as if they were separate problems. Caring Meadows was created to manage the housing side with the same expertise, commitment, and accountability that a good care provider brings to the support side.
Today, Caring Meadows manages the housing element of nine specialist supported living properties across Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, Surrey, and West Sussex — with a growing pipeline of new properties in development. Our primary care partner is Unicare Complex Care Specialist Ltd, a CQC-registered provider supporting adults with mental health conditions, autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. We are a separate business entity from Unicare, but we operate as genuine partners — sharing values, sharing information, and sharing a commitment to the people at the centre of both our organisations.

Housing and Facilities Manager
Sam Price is Caring Meadows’ Housing and Facilities Manager — the central operational role responsible for the day-to-day performance of every property in the Caring Meadows portfolio. With a background in facilities management and supported living housing, Sam brings both the technical expertise and the people skills that this role demands. Sam is the primary point of contact for house managers and care staff at every Caring Meadows property, ensuring that housing and facilities matters are resolved promptly, escalated appropriately, and never allowed to affect the quality of care delivered in the home. Sam also leads on property readiness assessments for all new properties coming into the portfolio.
Property Maintenance Officer
Kwabena Asare is the Caring Meadows Property Maintenance Officer, responsible for the planned, responsive, and preventative maintenance of all properties in the portfolio. Kwabena coordinates with contractors, manages maintenance schedules, carries out inspections, and ensures that every Caring Meadows property is kept in the safe, well-maintained condition that residents and care providers depend on. With experience in residential property maintenance and a practical, solution-focused approach, Kwabena is the person who ensures that when something needs fixing — it gets fixed, quickly and properly.
Tenancy and Service Charge Lead
Stefan Lazarevic leads Caring Meadows’ tenancy and service charge function — the operational and legal core of what makes supported living housing work correctly. Stefan is responsible for setting up every tenancy agreement for every resident across the portfolio, ensuring that each agreement is correctly structured under supported living legal requirements, clearly communicated to the resident in an accessible format, and properly signed and stored. Stefan also leads on service charge setting — ensuring charges are fair, transparent, compliant with housing benefit and Universal Credit requirements, and correctly itemised. Stefan’s work is the foundation of every resident’s housing rights and every Caring Meadows property’s regulatory compliance.
Finance and Accounts Officer
Sian Watts is Caring Meadows’ Finance and Accounts Officer, responsible for the financial management, reporting, and compliance of the Caring Meadows business. Sian manages all rent collection, service charge invoicing, supplier payment, and financial record keeping — ensuring that Caring Meadows operates with the financial clarity, accuracy, and transparency that its partners, residents, and regulators require. Sian works closely with Stefan Lazarevic on service charge accuracy and with Sam Price on maintenance expenditure, providing the financial oversight that ensures every pound spent on the portfolio is accounted for and justified.
